We would like to contribute to the environment and investigate whether and from how many participants it is profitable to collect bags of used diapers and bring them to a collection point by testing this in practice. the concept will be further developed.

We collect the bag(s) weekly (by appointment) and bring it to one of the collection points.
When more and more people (preferably in the same environment) participate in the study, it becomes more and more favorable to drive a collection route.

We do this research on a small scale and as long as buckets (and changing pads for the service) are available.

The collection of Verschoon is intended for (host) parents with one or more children in (night) diapers.
The grandparents or the babysitter are also welcome with us.

We make changing places available free of charge for families under certain circumstances,
we check whether families are eligible for this arrangement.

We have an incentive scheme for (indoor) playgrounds, shops, shopping centers, catering establishments or small-scale events in the region that take the trouble to collect diaper waste separately.

If you keep the used diapers separately, you are of course not waiting for a bulging, smelly waste bin!

Fortunately, there are a number of products on the market in which the diapers can be stored hygienically without releasing bad odors.

One of these products is the Diaper Champ diaper pail. You can literally turn away the used diaper. The pail contains a normal garbage bag, expensive refills are not necessary!

If you wish, you can borrow one or more diaper pails from us. This will cost you absolutely nothing! The only condition is that if you stop the investigation, the bucket is returned to us.

If you (temporarily) want to borrow a larger or an extra pail, that's no problem either.
For example, (host) parents sometimes (temporarily) ask us for an extra bucket, for example in a period when their child(s) use more diapers or as an extra bucket in another room, such as the kitchen, garage or garden (shed). , so that they can immediately dispose of their used diapers when they change their baby in this place.
Furthermore, older children (larger toddlers, preschoolers and school children) sometimes need their own bucket, for example as part of toilet training.

Even if you live in, for example, an apartment building, this is no problem:
We can store the bag(s) directly from the diaper pail(s) in our airtight, plastic boxes in which we transport the bags odorless. As a result, you do not have to offer the bag in the hallway or in the central hall, so that the neighbors are not bothered by it.

This research has a number of advantages:

• You contribute to a better environment
• You contribute to our research
• The diapers will be disposed of for you
• You have less domestic waste
• You get a nice changing table or diaper pail on loan

If you or someone else would like to participate, please let us know the address, number of children, diaper size and the estimated amount of diapers per child per week. This allows us to estimate the number of diaper pails you will need, for example:

• 1 child of 6 months (baby), size 3, 35 diapers per week
• 1 child of 2 years (toddler), size 5, 21 diapers per week
• 1 child of 4 years (toddler), pajama bottoms, 7 diapers a week

This equates to about 63 diapers per week. Since most diapers are a smaller size in this example, one Diaper Champ Medium might be enough .

However, our advice here is one Medium pail for the baby & toddler and one Regular pail for the toddler.
In this example, the toddler has his/her own pail and can therefore remove his/her diaper pants and put it in his/her own pail. This can be beneficial for the bedtime routine and potty training.

Together we try to make something beautiful out of it! If neighbors, acquaintances or the babysitter also want to participate, that's great of course.

You can always inquire whether potential participants fall within one of our pick-up routes.

If the babysitter's address does not fall within one of our routes and the babysitter would still like to participate, the babysitter can give you the bag with used diapers when you pick up your child(ren).

If desired, the babysitter (host parent or grandparent) can also borrow a bucket from us. Rather not a bucket, then we advise you to pack every used diaper in a diaper bag first and to store it in the bag because of hygiene and odors.
